Summary: We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would happily return. The cottage was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. While many vacation rentals end up being just a place to shower and sleep, we found ourselves genuinely enjoying spending time here. The covered patio became our favorite spot, and we spent almost every evening relaxing outside.The air conditioning and ceiling fans kept the cottage comfortable even on the warmest evenings, which was much appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the entire property felt peaceful and private.The location was ideal for exploring Puna and the Red Road area, but honestly, the cottage itself became part of the vacation. It was a pleasure to come back to each day. If you're looking for a clean, serene, and thoughtfully maintained place to stay on the Big Island, this is it. Highly recommended!
